Gambia's largest Airport, Banjul International Airport ,has been named the ‘Most Passenger Friendly' Airport in Africa.
The Airport, which is smaller than most Airports in Africa, rarely experience unfriendly acts like robbery and loss of luggage. The customer care at the airport is also commendable.
The result was released by a Pan African Committee of Travel Professionals and Experts from 15 African countries, who placed OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, and Cape Town Airport, both in South Africa, Kataka Airport in Accra, Ghana and the Lome Airport in Togo below Banjul International Airport,but ahead of other African Airpots.
The most unfriendly airports include Juba Airport in South Sudan, Nigeria's Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Tripoli International Airport in Libya.
